Photograph Inspiration from Q Magazine:
I found these photos on Q's website www.qthemusic.com in the section gallery and under the subheading 'The 10 New Faces of 2011'. The artists in the images include Mona, James Blake, The Vaccines, Zola Jesus, Transfer, J.Cole, Cults, Egyptian Hip Hop, Claire Maguire and Alex Lake.
I think these images create a very artistic feel, it also shows the artist's personality and genre of music through the colours which are used, for example, J.Cole's photo is more bold and consists of bold metallic tones which suggests he produces music in the genre of hip hop, whereas The Vaccines hang of the edge of the paper which suggests they're more playful and have fun with their music, along with the colour scheme of pastille shades which creates an antique feel and suggests that they're an indie band.
